[ It's been a day since Jaune's encounter with their former (???) Headmaster, and enough time has passed for cooler heads to prevail. To be honest, Jaune hasn't had a good night's sleep and every once in a while he'd be glancing at his hand that formed a fist, before looking away from it.

What Jaune did was wrong, and he should set that straight before he leaves town for a week. The problem is, he has no idea where the old man is staying... or if he's even okay? ]

Professor Ozpin? It's Jaune.

[ yeah no kidding ]

I... would like to speak with you. In person.

Professor?

[ He'll find his pendant glowing, becoming slightly warmer to the touch, at the same time as her soft voice fills his thoughts. ]

I hope I'm not disturbing you. Do you have a moment to talk?

[ Weiss, not wanting to disturb her former professor whom she still calls professor, contacts him some time during the morning where it's not too late and it's not too early. At about 10 am, his crystal will beep. And until he accepts this transmission, he won't hear Weiss' voice. ]

Good morning, Professor Ozpin.

[ That's it, though. That's the nicety Weiss provides. ]

I'm ready.

[ a few hours after ozpin's broadcast, penny has yet to make a reply of her own. she keeps going over all of the information, taking in its details. it's a lot more than ruby or anyone else had been able to communicate to her, but the more she ponders on it, the more the things that her father and general ironwood had told her make sense.

she feels like she has to talk to him one-on-one, with no holds barred. ]

Professor Ozpin... This is Penny. Could I talk to you?

Professor Ozpin? It's Jaune.

[ duh. ]

I, uh... I have another question about Semblances... do you have a moment?

[ He probably should have lead with that. ]

[Yang is about...80% sure Ozpin probably already knows what she's contacting him over. It's Ozpin after all. She honestly wouldn't be surprised if he has some weird Magic-y intuition that just lets him know when Qrow is around. ...Or he could have just seen the Wall of Names before she did. It's not like she makes a habit out of going there.

However, considering the nature of Qrow and Ozpin's relationship, she feels...well, it just feels "right" to make sure Ozpin's aware of the situation. Amulet telepathy is not her favorite mode of communication but sending him a messenger bird would have been tacky and it saves her the discomfort of having this conversation in person.]

Professor Ozpin? Do you have a minute?
