[ It's been a day since Jaune's encounter with their former (???) Headmaster, and enough time has passed for cooler heads to prevail. To be honest, Jaune hasn't had a good night's sleep and every once in a while he'd be glancing at his hand that formed a fist, before looking away from it.
What Jaune did was wrong, and he should set that straight before he leaves town for a week. The problem is, he has no idea where the old man is staying... or if he's even okay? ]

[ honestly, he had been waiting for the response. jaune can be a bit reckless and foolish, but he is genuinely a good kid, and ozpin knew he would get around to calming down and contacting him eventually. and since that day, ozpin has found a place to stay, slept for approximately 16 hours, and feels recuperated. recharged, even.
he still has to sort through his head, the guilt and the pain of what had happened (to both him, his school, and his students), but for now, he feels relatively energized.
definitely more than capable of dodging another punch to the face, anyway.

Yes. It's something of a long story, but I suppose the short version is that I was not able to choose my role, and I have tried my best to safeguard the individuals who have the same fate.
I can tell you the entire story, if you would like to hear it. But I imagine we have all heard enough depressing information to last a lifetime, and I would not want to add to what I imagine has already been a difficult few weeks. It may be beneficial to us both to delay that portion of the tale until it can happen in person.
