It's fine for now. I've just been.. discussing some things with some people I know and trust from Fayren. Did you meet with Mewtwo and.. I assume Satori if she isn't just letting him do all the work for her?
After discussing some things with some members of Fairy Tail- a well-established Guild that's been operating as protectors of Fayren since before I got here- apparently Fayren's current Guardianship has been refusing to allow anyone within their walls to help protect citizens unless they answer directly to them. I also learned that it wasn't in my head that they both look down on humans. I didn't want to say anything before for obvious reasons. [ The Schnee girl crying discrimination. She knows how that sounds. But now that she found out it wasn't just her.. ] Apparently I'm not the only one they condescend to. Mewtwo had a history of hating humans but I thought he was moving on from it. Apparently it's mellowed out into a tolerant superiority and Satori isn't any better, but it's being felt by individuals besides myself. Add in their refusal to participate in a council of sorts to help unite the Guardians...
[ She has to figure out to phrase this, since she's sure Ozpin doesn't want her talking about Cinder to others. ]
And that they essentially dismissed Cinder as something they could take care of with ease and insulted anyone who thinks otherwise without even asking what she was capable of when we were discussing threat-assessment, I wouldn't trust them. If they actually care to know what the truth is, they don't seem to be showing it as anything other than a power play.

I did not have the most productive conversation with Mewtwo myself. It seems those in charge of Fayren are politically motivated to separate themselves from the rest, which is their decision, and they must suffer both the benefits and consequences of such actions as they see fit.

I may not wield power here, but I am not going to be instructed on how to handle my own mistakes by individuals who know nothing about our universe, or what has happened, save for vague stories in the dark. I trust your intuition, Weiss, and I believe it to be correct -- trusting these individuals is a mistake. General Ironwood and I will not be meeting with them in person, if at all, especially if they have no intention of taking what we have to say at face value, as it appears to be the case.
Do you have a transcript, of the conversation you had with this Satori? I would like to see it. If you are not comfortable with that, I understand -- but reading between the lines of what this individual says would prove useful, in the future.

[ She had trust issues with Ozpin when it came to him hiding information that could get them all killed, but in this case it's because she was certain he would attempt to put an end to the plan regardless of what it was simply because Cinder was the obvious target of it. ]
Nevertheless, I thank you for the information. Consulting with Mewtwo and Satori about this issue would do more harm than good -- I imagine General Ironwood and I will just have to settle for staying away from Fayren for the time being.

[ ozpin is relatively confident in his ability to sneak in and out of places, and besides, that's what qrow is for. he can steal shit just fine. :) ]
Everything will work out, one way or the other. We have strength in numbers, here; I'm not concerned just yet over this particular threat.
